ACRICSA is the umbrella organisation representing the interests of RAMSA, SAIRAC, SARACCA and SARDA in common in industry matters. In the interests of fiscal accountability, ACRICSA is registered as a Section 21 company (incorporated not for gain).

Current projects in which ACRICSA is involved are:

1. The application of Unit Standards and Qualifications in industry to benefit learners and RPL employees through training providers.
2. The initiation oflearnership and training programs in industry and the appointment of assessors
3. Consultation and distribution of information concerning the skills development act and the skills development levies act.
4. Liaison with the industry sector education and training authority (MERSETA), SAQA and training providers.
5. Development of the safe handling of refrigerants training courses and assessment andregistration of candidates.

Updating of SABS 0147 with other industry bodies.
